Tips For A Successful Keys Wedding:
Schedule your wedding to take place about 2 hours before sunset – known as the “Magic Hour”. The light is most flattering at this hour and the temperature is cooler.
Do’s:
- Wear simple lines and structures.
- Family’s colors should be coordinated.
- Light, solid pastels work best.
- Shoes – barefoot or sandals are best.
- Week old haircuts are best.
- Guys should be freshly shaven.
- Ladies: please put makeup on in natural light – never fluorescent.
- Try to get a good night’s sleep.
Don’ts:
- Avoid busy or distracting patterns (ie. bright stripes) in clothing.
- Avoid mixing light colors with dark colors.
- Avoid black – it brings out dark circles under the eyes.
- Avoid high heels for beach weddings
- Watch out for those tan lines.
And my best recommendation of all… Don’t go partying in Key West all night before your wedding!
